Application for Training Courses

TJ SOCIAL WORK SERVICES is governed by a highly experienced social worker in child, youth and family therapy who provides
extensive and approved training for a wide variety of social work qualifications.

Training courses are a convenient way for many mental health professionals to access quality education resources; learn more about treatment modalities, current research, and specific behavioral health conditions; and expand their clinical skills.

Attending courses also allows therapists to stay current on the trends in psychotherapy and mental health treatment so they can provide the best care possible to their clients.

Programme Notes:
  • This is a 18 months modular training programme comprising 30% Theory followed by 70% Mentor-guided Work Based Application (theoretical practice application) in each module.
  • Entry level: NQF Level 5 (Grade 12 or equivalent) recognized qualification and, as necessary, prospective learners are assumed to be competent in:
    1. Reading, writing, listening and speaking in English, equivalent or a NQF Level 4 ECD (grade 12 or equivalent); and
    2. the ability to undertake independent learning.
